The Starry Night
For this activity I choose The Starry Night.
In this painting I can see:
Lot's of detail in the sky and on the house's.
Different shades of blue's and yellow's.
That the creator put a lot of effort into it.
Fact's On The Creator:
The creator of this amazing piece of art is Vincent Van Gogh.
His full name is Vincent Willem Van Gogh.
He was born on March 30, 1853, in Zundert.
He died July 29, 1890, in Auvers-sur-Oise, France
His job was Art dealer, Painter, Artist.
He started painting at 27.

Kia ora Maia, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteWell done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this post about cracking the code through careful observation!
You have done an excellent job describing what you can see in Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘The Starry Night’.
This particular painting is one of my favourites for almost the exact same reasons you enjoyed it; the details in the sky and village, the use of shading, and the obvious effort which has gone into the painting. I also really like the clouds which have been made with such an array of colours, as well as the use of oil paints, the stunning moon, and the spectacular tree which, in my mind, almost looks like a castle.
What if your favourite part of this image?
Vincent Van Gogh truly was such an amazing artist who inspired so many others with his work.
Have you seen any of Van Gogh’s other paintings? If so, which ones did you like?
I enjoy drawing and painting. Whenever I’m feeling a little bit down, I always pull out my sketchbook and draw, and it makes me feel so much better!
Do you enjoy drawing and painting?
