The activity I enjoyed the most was the one where you had to work out how old Jessa was when she won her awards. Week 2 Day 1 Activity 2
The activity I enjoyed the least was the create a poster one. Week 2 Day 3 Activity 1
3 things I learned doing this activity:
1. That anything is possibly if you think about it.
2. That the 40 hour famine raises for a different country each year.
3. That there are some amazing people who put this together. (Especially you Kieryn.)
Maybe next year you could give us more maths questions.
Kia ora Maia, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteIt is so awesome to hear how much you have enjoyed partaking in all of the Summer Learning Journey activities! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading each and every one of your blog posts, and have been very impressed with the amount of effort you have put into participating in these challenges.
My favourite blog post of yours would be the book cover you designed for Roald Dahl’s ‘Matilda’. You did an outstanding job with your design, and it was the little details you included which made it stand out for me!
I am so happy that you feel you have learnt things from these activities, and am glad you enjoyed doing the maths equation to work out Dr Jessa Rogers age when she won the NAIDOC Youth of the Year award!
Including more maths questions is a great recommendation, so thank you for suggesting such a wonderful idea!
Keep up the excellent work Maia. I hope you have an amazing time back at school!
