Dear Jacinda
My name is Maia I am from New Zealand and go to Belfast School. I wrote this letter to ask you for a theme park in Christchurch where I am from I know we have gardens and museums but it would be great to have a theme park we already have a water park. I wont this so we don't get bored so easily and so for those who can not travel get to enjoy a theme park in their city.
From Maia
P.S This would be hugely appreciated as I am in a family of six and it gets so hectic over the holidays.

Kia ora Maia, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteWell done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey activities and writing such a well thought out letter to our Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern.
A theme park in Christchurch is such a wonderful idea! I grew up on the Gold Coast of Australia, and my family and I were always planning fun trips to the theme parks. They have so many different ones on the Gold Coast like Dream World (which is mainly roller coasters), Wet N Wild (which is a water theme park), Sea World (which is a theme park based around aquatic animals), and Movie World (which is a theme park based around lots of different movies).
Have you ever been to any of these theme parks?
I like the way you mentioned what you already have in Christchurch. Gardens and museums can be lots of fun, but nothing beats going for a ride on a rollercoaster!
If Jacinda Ardern were to ask you for suggestions to raise money for this new theme park, what suggestions would you have?
What rides would you suggest be included in the theme park?
It would be great if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
Nga mihi
