This girl called Isabelle got pushed off the playground at school and Broke her arm. She then had to go to hospital and have surgery to straighten her arm. She was then put in a cast and not too long ago had it removed. her older sister Madelyn looked out for her and loved to tell her sisters story on what happened.

Kia ora Maia, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this brave story about Isabelle and her broken arm.
I have never broken a bone in my life, so I can only imagine how scary and painful it must have been!
Have you ever broken any bones? If so, which ones?
You mentioned that she had to go to the hospital and have surgery to straighten her arm. Did the school have to call an ambulance for Isabelle?
I had to have surgery to get my appendix out at the beginning of last year. I was so nervous and scared, but I knew I had to have it done. I had all of my family supporting me and helping me be brave.
It is lovely how her sister looked out for her and made sure she was okay. I do the exact same thing for my sisters whenever they get sick or injured
Is Isabelle one of your friends at school?
She truly is a very brave young girl!
