My current name is Maia if I could change it I would change it to Kaytlyn because of its beautiful meaning. Kaytlyn means A smart beautiful young lady.
What would your name be?

Kia ora Maia, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the Summer Learning Journey activities and creating this post about changing your name.
Kaytlyn is a lovely name, with so many different ways to spell it. How did you decide with which spelling you would go with?
It would be great to have a new name which meant ‘smart, beautiful, young lady’, but it is also important to remember that you are all of these things even if your name isn’t Kaytlyn.
It is what’s on the inside that counts!
I quite like my name the way it is and if I got the chance to change it, I don’t think that I would.
To many people know my name already, and if I changed my name, I think there would be to much confusion with what people would call me.
Would you ever change your name?
Nga mihi
Kia ora Maia,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you participating in the Summer Learning Journey. You have a cool name, did you know in Greek mythology you name means great mother and in Maori it is brave warrior.
My name would be Herbert because I think the older names that are not used much need to be brought back. Also I called shorten it to Herb.
One thing with names that has always interested me is the way a woman changes her last name when she gets married, it sort of makes me think the woman gives up some of her own identity.
Would you change you last name?
Nga mihi,
Mark
