My reflection on Summer Learning Journey 2019 / 2020

The activity I enjoyed the most was the one where you had to work out how old Jessa was when she won her awards. Week 2 Day 1 Activity 2

The activity I enjoyed the least was the create a poster one. Week 2 Day 3 Activity 1

3 things I learned doing this activity:
1. That anything is possibly if you think about it.
2. That the 40 hour famine raises for a different country each year.
3. That there are some amazing people who put this together. (Especially you Kieryn.)

Maybe next year you could give us more maths questions.

My 20 hour famine

I did a 20 hour famine without furniture. The challenges were having to sleep on the ground and eat on the ground. The upside was I got to raise money for the people who need it more than we probably do. At this time they were raising money for kids in Syria.

What I want to be when I am older

When I am older I want to be a teacher. I want to have this job because I love kids and I am quite smart. I would have to study before becoming a teacher so I cant get straight into my job but I might do baby sitting while studding.

My Role Model

My role model is my mum. I look up to her and can't wait to babysit I also love kids and she has taught me how to do many things in my life. She has always helped me with my wishes and dreams.
I love you so much mum thank-you so much for being as amazing as you are.

Coding

This is level 5 and it is the highest I got.

My First Year At Primary School

When I was five I started going to Belfast school. I started in room 3 I was so scared. after being at school for one whole year I did not cry or get upset when my mum left. When I no longer had to be passed to a teacher so my mum could leave I started to feel proud. I was so proud of myself.

Thank you to my amazing teachers who had helped me to get more confident when starting school.

The Starry Night

For this activity I choose The Starry Night.

In this painting I can see:
Lot's of detail in the sky and on the house's.
Different shades of blue's and yellow's.
That the creator put a lot of effort into it.

The creator of this amazing piece of art is Vincent Van Gogh.
His full name is Vincent Willem Van Gogh.

My favourite day so far in the school holidays

It is he holidays everyone gets to do something fun do you know what I did on the funnest day so far? I went to Kaikoura. When we were there we met up with some family friends and went to a water hole. The bottom of the water hole was all muddy and slimy i slipped multiple times at one point I face planted and had mud all over my face and all through my hair. I was also riding a boggie board just using it to stay of the ground. We then had a picnic and went to have a shower and go see the seals the seals were amazing and we saw 4 of them. We had to stand 10 meters away as they are wild animals. We then had fish and chips for tea. On the way home we saw lots of little seals. we even saw some of them trying to catch fish in the water. On the way home I feel asleep. We are going back to stay the 31st til the 2nd. I am so excited we are going to go out on the boat and catch my mum a fresh crayfish for her birthday.

What has been your favourite day so far?

I wrote this letter to ask you for a theme park in Christchurch where I am from I know we have gardens and museums but it would be great to have a theme park we already have a water park. My Favourite Book

My favourite book is my Bible, I like it because it tells us about our father and tells us the story on Jesus's life. In my Bible it allows my to colour in it and it gives me a prayer to say before I read my book. My Bible's real name is: Inspire for girls the bible for colouring and creative journaling.
This is the prayer :

Dear Lord
Thank you for creating your in your image.
I can't believe you hand-picked every little detail about me and that I am your master piece.
Help me to always see the wonder in you and me.
Help me to use my uniqueness to shine brightly for you!
I want to hear your voice louder than any other so my mind can be filled with truth and I can do all that you have planned for me.
Help me to be aware of your presence always.
I love you so much, and want my whole life to reflect it!
Thank you for loving me far more than I could ever imagine.
Quite my heart as I read your Word so that I can hear your voice.
Please remove all the distractions around me so I dont miss a word you have for me.
Help me to meditate on your Word and memorize it.
I love you so much.
In Jesus' name, Amen
